Art Class Instruction

Not Just Paint is a creative arts studio + gallery that provides for an event space that incorporates artistic expression and craft creation.  As a result, we are pleased to announce the addition of providing for outside art class instruction by outside teachers and facilitators.  The 

 

Private events are customized and tailored events which are closed to the public and reserved specifically for your event which provides for a maximum headcount of 40 attendees.  Headcount is defined as each person in attendance for the event whether they choose or choose not to participate in the artistic expression and craft creation.

Cost

The base cost for studio rental:

Monday - Thursday:  $150.00 per hour (2 hour minimum)

Friday:  $175.00 per hour (4 hour minimum)

Saturday - Sunday:  $200.00 per hour (4 hour minimum)

The total invoice will reflect the base cost for studio rental as listed above, a 18% gratuity, 2.9% credit card processing fee (waived for cash payments), and applicable sales tax.

Studio Rental

What you can expect:​​

• Event intake and coordination to ensure your event requirements are met for a grand day of event.

• Room design, furniture arrangement, and event coordination for special requirements such as catering.  (Full event planning services are at a separate cost.)

• Day of Event:  1/2 hour  pre-set up and 1/2 hour post-set available up for food, decorations, playlist etc.  which is included within your 3 hour rental.

• Total of 3 Hours of private studio rental closed to the public.  (1 Hour Total For Pre & Post Set Up + 2 Hour For Class). For additional studio hours, please see below.

• Equipment:  TV With HDMI Connection, High Speed ​Wi-Fi Internet

• Logo Wall:  Serves As Sticky Wall

• Music:  Bluetooth Speaker Connection

• Outside Food:  Outside food is permitted.  There are no restrictions for your food spread/grazing table to include dessert items.  Plastic ware, ice, glasses, cups, napkins, decorations, etc. are not provided.

• Alcohol:  The studio rental allows for BYOB!  (Please see below.)

• Photo Ops:  3 selfie wall backdrops + logo wall to capture memorable pictures from your event.

Invoice

There will only be one invoice generated.  The point of contact/person requesting service is the sole person that Not Just Paint will work directly with.  This person is responsible for compliance with the terms and conditions to include deposit and final balance.  An invoice will be generated following the outline of the event to include cost, attendance, time and date, etc.  To secure the date and the requirements outlined in the invoice, a 50% deposit is due immediately.  An invoice deposit not paid within 12 hours will expire and the invoice will be null and void.  Prior to paying the invoice, please ensure that you are in agreement with the terms and conditions as outlined.  Agreement occurs upon completing the agreement with deposit.

Deposit

Please note, a 50% deposit is required at the time of signing the agreement which also serves as a down payment for your event.  The deposit not only serves as your down payment, it reserves your private event and prevents Not Just Paint from booking other events during the timeframe.  The invoice will be outline the deposit and balance due.  Prior to submitting the deposit,  please ensure that you are in agreement with the terms and conditions as outlined.  Agreement occurs upon completing the reservation with payment.

Final Payment

Final payment is due two weeks prior to the scheduled event date.  The final payment due date will be outlined within the agreement.  If final payment is not paid on the due date as outlined on the agreement, Not Just Paint may cancel the event, deposit will be non refundable, and the agreement will be null and void.  In this event, there will not be monetary payment nor credit provided.  If an event is booked within two weeks or less, the total payment is due at the time of booking.

Cancellation

If the event is cancelled less than two weeks prior to the scheduled event and/or there is a no show for the scheduled event, the deposit is non refundable and will not be refunded.  If an official cancellation notice is provided more than two weeks prior to the scheduled event, a credit equal to the deposit will be provided for an event reschedule to occur within the following three months.  If the event reschedule does not occur within the three month timeframe, the credit will be forfeited and not honored.

Changes

Unauthorized and unapproved changes to the agreement made by the client for private events in any form, makes the agreement null and void.

BYOB

Our alcohol license provides guest age 21 and over with a BYOB option to bring wine and beer for Signature Classes and Private events held Monday - Saturday.  Alcohol is not permitted on Sundays.  Please ensure that a current government-issued ID card is available to present upon arrival.  There will be no exceptions for carding.  Non alcohol drinks are permitted.
