Terms & Conditions
Not Just Paint is a creative arts studio + gallery that provides for a setting that incorporates artistic expression and craft creation. Private events are customized and tailored events which are closed to the public and reserved specifically for your event which provides for a maximum headcount of 40 attendees. Private events are defined as a a headcount of six (6) or more. Private sessions are defined as groups of less than six (6) headcount. (See below for more information regarding private sessions and cost). Headcount is defined as each person in attendance for the event whether they choose or choose not to participate in the artistic expression and craft creation. For children's parties, adults in attendance assisting and not participating in art will not be charged.
Private Session
Small party size? We can accommodate with a private session for groups of less than six (6) headcount! With a private session there is not a $100 studio rental fee. However, for private sessions, there is a $20 add on fee to the price of the public class which ensures a private session closed to the public with dedicated instruction and service.
Cost
The base art class cost is aligned with the cost of the public art class chosen which starts at $38.95 per person (price varies per class) which includes full class instruction, supplies, and material. Art classes starts at $24.95 for children up to age 12. The studio rental for a private event with art is $100.00 in addition to the public art class cost per person which ensures and reserves a private event closed to the public to include the total offerings outlined under the section, "Studio + Gallery Rental". Please see the list below what the studio rental + gallery fee provides.
The total invoice will reflect the base art class cost, a 18% administrative gratuity fee, 2.9% credit card processing fee (waived for cash payments), studio + gallery rental, and applicable sales tax.
Art of Choice
We will define with you for your chosen art for your private event to include paint colors and other pertinent logistics. Please advise your guest of the art class that you have selected to be instructed and facilitated for your private event. Special request by your guest will not be honored for different, alternative, and deviations other than the contracted chosen art.
Studio + Gallery Rental
What studio + gallery rental provides:

Private usage of the studio + gallery as a space for your event, closed to the public.

Dedicated, tailored, and customized, end-to-end customer service for the life-cyle of your event.

Event intake and coordination to ensure your event requirements are met for a grand day of event.

Room design, furniture arrangement, and event coordination for special requirements such as catering. (Full event planning services are at a separate cost.)

Day of Event: Total of two (2) Hours of private studio rental closed to the public. Please inform your guest to not arrive more than 30 minutes prior to the commencement of your private event.

Outside Food: Outside food is permitted. There are no restrictions for your food spread/grazing table to include dessert items. Plastic ware, ice, glasses, cups, napkins, decorations, etc. are not provided.

Photo Ops: 3 selfie wall backdrops + logo wall to capture memorable pictures from your event.
Event Commencement & Conclusion
Your private event timeframe will be outlined within your agreement. Please keep in mind that your private event timeframe includes a total of two (2) Hours of private studio rental closed to the public as listed above. Within the two (2) Hour Class time, there is time for your party, food consumption, and art. It is expected that your private event commence and conclude within the contracted timeframe. Please be mindful that tardiness and late arrivals may impact your timeframe. In the event, your event extends beyond the contract timeframe, you will be charged $100 per hour for additional time.
Invoice
There will only be one invoice generated. The point of contact/person requesting service is the sole person that Not Just Paint will work directly with. This person is responsible for compliance with the terms and conditions to include deposit and final balance. An invoice will be generated following the outline of the event to include cost, attendance, time and date, etc. To secure the date and the requirements outlined in the invoice, a 50% deposit is due immediately. An invoice deposit not paid within 2 hours will expire and the invoice will be null and void. Prior to paying the invoice, please ensure that you are in agreement with the terms and conditions as outlined. Agreement occurs upon completing the agreement with deposit.
Deposit
Please note, a 50% deposit is required at the time of signing the agreement which also serves as a down payment for your event. The deposit not only serves as your down payment, it reserves your private event and prevents Not Just Paint from booking other events during the timeframe. The invoice will outline the deposit and balance due. Prior to submitting the deposit, please ensure that you are in agreement with the terms and conditions as outlined. Agreement occurs upon completing the reservation with payment.
Final Payment
Final payment is due two weeks prior to the scheduled event date. The final payment due date will be outlined within the agreement. If final payment is not paid on the due date as outlined on the agreement, Not Just Paint reserves the right to cancel the event and the deposit will be non refundable, and the agreement will be null and void. In this event, there will not be monetary payment nor credit provided. If an event is booked within two weeks or less, the total payment is due at the time of booking. In the event that Not Just Paint agrees to reinstate a cancelled party, a reinstatement charge equal to 20% of the total invoice will be charged.
Cancellation
No cash refund policy. If the event is cancelled less than two weeks prior to the scheduled event and/or there is a no show for the scheduled event, the deposit is non refundable and will not be refunded via credit nor monetary. If an official cancellation notice is provided more than two weeks prior to the scheduled event, a credit in the amount of money paid will be provided for an event reschedule to occur within the following 2 months. If the event reschedule does not occur within the 2 month timeframe, the credit will be forfeited and not honored. There is one reschedule opportunity.
Offsite Travel
For offisite travel, a travel fee will apply for a distance beyond 10 miles or more of the Not Just Paint Studio to be defined per the distance traveled at the time of contract discussion. The travel fee accounts for the time, fuel, and distance to reach the client and the inability to book and schedule due to the time required for travel.
Changes
Unauthorized and unapproved changes to the agreement made by the client for private events in any form, makes the agreement null and void.
BYOB
Our alcohol license provides guest age 21 and over with a BYOB option to bring wine and beer for Signature Classes and Private events held Monday - Saturday. Alcohol is not permitted on Sundays. Please ensure that a current government-issued ID card is available to present upon arrival. There will be no exceptions for carding. Non alcohol drinks are permitted.
